One major shopping district in New York would be Lower Manhattan and the Downtown District. Here you would find Century 21, right across the World Trade Center Site. This is the discount department store to end all discount department stores! And why? Because it sells designer clothes, shoes, and everything else at such a discounted rate, it should be considered highway robbery! Their discounts go from 40% to 65% off every day! It is unbelievable! Oh la la!

An excellent stop while you shop in the Big Apple is Chinatown. You’ll not get great finds here, and there is a great chance that you would be spotting a lot of designer imitations than you can ever imagine, nevertheless the hustle and bustle of Chinatown is worth going through. The fish and herb marketplace are excellent as well of course.

Shopping in New York would not be complete without a stop to super fashionable SoHo. This neighbourhood is one of the trendiest places in New York and as you stroll along, you would see shops like Banana Republic, Sephora, A/X Armani Exchange, Bloomingdale’s and of course, Prada.
