Spanning 330 square miles, it is considered one of the best nature preserves around. It is famous for it’s beautiful yet kind of scary karst limestone formations. It’s also well-known for its lemur populations, bird populations, and the preserved mangrove trees.
Because Madagascar is an island, you should definitely make time for water-based activities. It is a very popular surfing spot because the wind is always high and the shape of the island promises surfers amazing waves. Kayaking helps tourist see the gorgeous natural coastlines and maybe even experience some of the marine life. Deep sea fishing is also great here, thanks to the island location.
